$500 Blogversary Giveaway!

I was asked by my sis-in-law to join the grandest blog contest- Kaye and Pehpot's Blogversary Contest last month but I couldn't do the requirements because of my hectic schedules. My hands are always full as a full-time mom to a 4-month old daughter. It's hard for me to find time to blog about the contest and review the blogs of the major sponsor. Now that they've changed the requirements into just simple 5 steps, here I am blogging about it.
Click on the contest banner and you'll know why their banner's images include a pizza, a piece of cake, a cup of coffee and a salad (?) . It's because you could have a celebration if you'll win $200 - that if you'll earn the highest points!

Though I couldn't get the highest points, at least I'm in for the raffle draw of choosing blogs that post about the contest and that means $5 is at stake for me. Wish me luck:0).

Motivated...

It's just Tuesday, the second day of school week, but it seems like pulling the-rope-the-hard way for me.Maybe because, its the last month of the semester and i cant help thinking about examinations, papers to check, making reports and grades...etc..etc...etc...Things that has to be done in due time.Well, its not new to me since a Teacher by profession like me should do that.

I'm just grateful enough i haven't been in the mood swing..LOL..i can still smile while teaching...trully its tiresome but I thank HIM for the strength in each day.I'm deeply excited for next months call for celebrationssssssss.....

Desire Granted!

My hubby even before really amazed me..He do many things that really surprised me,sometimes it even made me cry..I do remmber the last time(2 or 3 months ago) I told him about my phone, since it is touch screened, I cannot enjoy the texting thing compare to other phone.LOve to sending text messages still by the way..LOL.The phone Im using were a smaller one, Samsung.

And I've been using this phone for a year now.He never say a thing that time except for a nod and a smile.Since I cant buy for another one,in my heart better to have this than nothing.Anyway, I can call, this is whats good and best for this type and style of this phone.
And indeed..my desire has been granted. Wenesday night He hand me something in a black pouch, with a smile and a hug..as I opened it up.........

I hugged him, I cant say any single word.....the tightier my hug was, the grateful I am...not only for the gift but for thoughts and caring ways he bestowed.I love you so much honey..words are not enough..I thank God for you.

How i hope and pray I could have lots of stuffs to wrap this year.Im not dreaming to be Santa...but I could be more generous than Santa. And its trully a wonderful and unexplained feeling when you give to someone else than to received.

MOthers Day and Pregnant Women....Do We Qualify

I have been having an ongoing discussion with a friend about Mothers’ day. Since Mothers' Day is celebrated here inThailand this month. Also in honor of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit. on her birthday.

I told her that even though I haven’t had her yet I think I still qualify! She says Mothers’ day is ONLY for women who already have children and that since she isn’t born yet...I don’t get anything.

I would like to say that I strongly disagree with her on this! I still consider myself a mother even though she isn’t here just yet. Our child will be with us soon in Gods’ time. I’m still taking care of her while she is inside my body.(by GODs’ grace) And I’ve given her a safe place to live free of charge for the past 7 months!! LOL.

I told her that I’m not demanding a present (but that would be nice) since Mothers’ Day celebration falls on the day after my birthday. heheheh. But she could at least get me a Mother’s day card or a Birthday Card.

What do you all think?

Help them...

I wanted to help my second graders.Examine what they could do to be good readers, listeners and writers, be always motivated to study English.I had taught each one of the skills individually.Oh!MY!not that easy! The children don't have a concrete representation of each thing they could do to help themselves.I learned that the more we see something the more likely it may actually sink in.
I wish someone had told me then that knowing my students was as important as knowing my subject.

Health Benefits of Kissing

Kissing Is...

One of the easiest ways to express affection and say I love you. Kissing is a universal language that requires no translation to glean it's message. Kissing has amazing health benefits. Best Kisses is a unique kissing photo website promoting the power of love one kiss at a time

"A kiss makes the heart young again and wipes out the years." Rupert Burke

The Top 10 Health Benefits of Kissing...

Have been documented in medical studies offering amazing advantages for a long and healthy life.

  1. Those who kiss their partner goodbye each morning live five years longer than those who don’t.
  2. Kissing is great for self-esteem. It makes you feel appreciated and helps your state of mind.
  3. Kissing burns calories, 2-3 calories a minute and can double your metabolic rate. Research claims that three passionate kisses a day (at least lasting 20 seconds each) will cause you to loose an entire extra pound! It's time to start that kissing diet!
  4. Kissing is a known stress-reliever. Passionate kissing relieves tension, reduces negative energy and produces a sense of well being, lowering your cortisol ‘stress’ hormone.
  5. Kissing uses 30 facial muscles and it helps keep the facial muscles tight, preventing baggy cheeks! The tension in the muscles caused by a passionate kiss helps smooth the skin and increases the circulation.
  6. Kissing is good for the heart, as it creates an adrenaline which causes your heart to pump more blood around your body. Frequent kissing has scientifically been proven to stabilize cardiovascular activity, decrease blood pressure and cholesterol.
  7. Those who kiss quite frequently are less likely to suffer from stomach, bladder and blood infections.
  8. During a kiss, natural antibiotics are secreted in the saliva. Also, the saliva contains a type of anesthetic that helps relieve pain.
  9. Kissing reduces anxiety and stops the 'noise' in your mind. It increases the levels of oxytocin, an extremely calming hormone that produces a feeling of peace.
  10. The endorphins produced by kissing are 200 times more powerful than morphine. [source]
